Pricing Tips

  • Aim for 25โ€“30% of what the item sells for new.
  • Items can be priced slightly higher if they are a higher-quality brand, licensed, or brand new (still tagged).
  • If your item is so old as to be no longer in fashion (unless considered vintage), or is not in like-new shape, please do not consign it at Half-Pint.
  • $2 minimum. Full dollar amounts only.
  • Do not price for the half-price sale. You might be happy if the shirt you priced at $8 goes for $4 โ€” but why would someone buy it for $4 when other shirts priced at $4 are going for $2?

  • Manual Entry is always free. Type your item details and tag as many items as you like โ€” no code needed.
  • An access code unlocks 200 tags for the two faster methods, Dictation Tagging and AI Auto-Fill. Each item tagged that way uses one tag.
  • Reprints are unlimited. Print any tag as many times as you need โ€” lost or damaged tags cost you nothing.
  • Deleting a dictated or photo-tagged item does not return the tag, so double-check before saving.
  • Deleting a typed item costs nothing, since typing never used a tag.
  • Run out? Additional 200-tag codes are available any time.

  1. Enter your consignor number (required before adding items)
  2. Under "Add New Item" on the home screen, tap Manual, Dictation, or AI Auto-Fill โ€” not sure which? Tap "Which one should I use?"
  3. Manual: type the details in yourself โ€” always free, no code needed
  4. Dictation: tap ๐ŸŽค Fill by Voice and speak each field as the app walks you through
  5. AI Auto-Fill: take 2 photos (item + label) and AI fills in the details
  6. Review and edit the tag details โ€” price is required before saving
  7. Save to your list
  8. Print all tags when ready

๐ŸŸข Keeping Items Full Price on Sunday

Half-Pint runs a half-price sale on Sunday. If you have an item you do not want sold at half price, follow these steps:

  • Price the item at $75 or more.
  • Print the tag on green paper โ€” or color it green by hand after printing.
  • Write "Do Not Discount" on the tag by hand.
